Affymetrix Genechip® 3' Expression Arrays

General Information:

Instrumentation: GeneChip® Fluidics Station 450, GeneChip® Scanner 3000 7G.
The FGC can process most 3' expression arrays that Affymetrix offers.
We stock Human U133 Plus 2.0, Mouse M430 2.0, and Rat 230 2.0 arrays. All other arrays must be purchased as an entire pack. Affymetrix Chip Pricing
Processing protocols: Nugen-Ovation or Ambion MessageAmp
$400 Lab processing fee includes: RNA quality check on the Agilent Bioanalyzer, target preparation and labeling, sample hybridization, array scanning, and data QC.

Data Analysis

*Note: The optional sample preparation services are not included in the Affymetrix Expression Array Pricing. **However, if the RNA sample is submitted for microarray analysis, there will be no charge for the bioanalyzer service. See our Pricing Page for complete information.

Sample Submission:

We recommend for RNA isolation: Trizol (Invitrogen) extraction followed by the RNeasy Clean-up protocol with a DNase treatment (Qiagen)
Please submit at least 2 ug total RNA in a concentration of 100-200 ng/ul if possible
When necessary, we can perform analysis on less than100ng total RNA; please contact us for more information
Complete Microarray Expression Request Form, place samples and form in a Ziploc bag and drop-off in -80C Freezer (Medical Center Ground Floor Room G-7814)
